DOTD: Penn State Pinstripe Bowl Pump-Up Video

So many feels.

Seemingly the first of numerous fan-made Pinstripe Bowl pump-up videos has been released, and it’s a five-minute highlight reel of emotion invoking moments from the past several seasons of Penn State football.

Created by YouTube user Ben Jameson, the first half of the video chronicles memorable plays from the Bill O’Brien era, before transitioning to a montage of the seniors who stayed through the sanctions into highlights from this year, most of them occurring on the defensive side of the ball. The latter portion is set to Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind”, a track that will likely be unavoidable in the weeks leading up to the Dec. 27 showdown against Boston College at Yankee Stadium.
