Forcible Sex Offense Reported At Off-Campus Fraternity

Police are investigating a reported sexual assault that occurred at an off-campus fraternity between Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.

According to police, a female student was sexually assaulted by a known male. The assault was reported today via an online reporting form at 2:57 p.m. and a PSU Alert was sent out at 4:26. Although the assault was reported to University Police, State College police are leading the investigation.

IFC President Rick Groves said the reported chapter was placed under suspension following the alert. Groves said he could not reveal which fraternity the report indicated, citing the ongoing police investigation.
