Following a superb senior season, Penn State volleyball's Aaron Russell was named a first team All-American by the America Volleyball Coaches Association for the second time in his Nittany Lion career.
Assistant coach Brian Daly, a key member of the Penn State men's basketball program, has decided to leave his position due to personal reasons. He will be moving back to Philadelphia where he will look to spend more time with his family, according to a university release provided by 247sports.

Penn State loves to play in Happy Valley, and its record shows. The Nittany Lions are 17-26 (5-12 Big Ten) and 13 of those 17 wins are in Medlar Field. The Lions were home one last time to face a Rutgers team that was just below Penn State in the Big Ten standings, in dead last. Penn State was able to sweep the series on a beautiful senior weekend 8-1, 12-10, and 8-5.
