Penn State Home Opener To Kick At Noon

Penn State Athletics announced the Nittany Lions home opener against Buffalo on Sept. 12 will kick at noon. The game will air on ESPN2 or ESPNU.

This is the second time Penn State will play Buffalo. The last time the teams met in 2007 the Nittany Lions beat the Bulls 45-24.

After the 2014 Homecoming noon kick was announced, we debated if noon games sucked. Penn State Athletics attempted to quell the noon kick complainers in a press release by reminding fans the Nittany Lions are playing at least one regular season night game for the 16th consecutive season. The game the following week against Rutgers is under the lights at 8 p.m.

The game against Buffalo kicks off a five week streak of Saturdays well spent in Beaver Stadium. The countdown is on until we’re #107KStrong.
