Mini-Documentary Chronicles A Penn State Ultimate Frisbee Season

If you’ve done enough binge watching on Netflix for one summer and have 45 minutes to kill, the documentary below follows the 2014-15 season of SPANK, Penn State men’s ultimate frisbee team. Akshat Rajan, president of SPANK, spent the past year chronicling the team’s practices, tournaments, and off-season conditioning for the documentary.

The 26-man team prides itself on dedication, brotherhood, and aggressive play. “Putting a jersey on our back is a privilege that symbolizes hours, weeks, and months of sacrifice and hard work,” SPANK’s website reads. “We strive for excellence and settle for nothing less.”

If you’re wondering why on earth they call themselves SPANK, the documentary will answer that in the first five minutes.
