Nittanyville’s Weeklong Campout Set For Rutgers Week

Mark your calendars and get your tents ready — Nittanyville has announced that its annual week-long campout will be held the week of Penn State’s matchup with Rutgers.

Nittanyville has also stated its goal to set a new record number of campers — aiming for more than the 1,185 students in 140 tents from the 2012 weeklong. 812 students camped out in front of Gate A last year leading up to the primetime matchup with Ohio State. The weeklong is scheduled for much earlier in the season this time around, as Penn State and Rutgers meet up in week three.

Tents go up on Monday, Sept 14, and kickoff is set for Saturday the 19th. And if you still need to be convinced about why you should camp out, or just want to reflect on last year’s fun, check out our recap video.
