Epic Rap Battles Of History To Perform At SPA LateNight

Rappers from the popular YouTube channel “Epic Rap Battles of History” will perform at SPA’s LateNight on Friday, Sept. 11 at the HUB’s Alumni Hall.

“The record-breaking digital series ‘Epic Rap Battles of History’ (ERB), created by Peter Shukoff (aka Nice Peter) and Lloyd Ahlquist (aka EpicLLOYD), features comedic rap battles between historical and/or pop culture figures—such as Albert Einstein vs. Stephen Hawking, Mozart vs. Skrillex, Steve Jobs vs. Bill Gates and Moses vs Santa Claus,” ERB’s website says.  According to the website, Epic Rap Battles of History is the most viewed series on YouTube on a per episode basis.

Skukoff and Ahlquist published ERB’s first video in 2010, and have since garnered more than 12 million subscribers and almost two billion combined views. The duo’s second video went viral, and they have since featured Snoop Dogg Watsky, Jordan Peele and his comedy partner, Penn State Homecoming’s 2015 Grand Marshal Keegan-Michael Key.

The “ERB Tour 2015” show in Alumni Hall will be free to all students with a valid Penn State I.D. Below is the channel’s most popular video, “Barack Obama vs. Mitt Romney.” Enjoy!
