Natty Nittany: Fall Fashion Edition
The temperature is dropping, the leaves are falling, and hot drinks are always in hand. It’s finally autumn here in Happy Valley, and Penn State students know how to stay warm while staying in style. We took to the campus streets to find students showing off their autumn wardrobes. Here are some of the highlights of our fall fashion expedition!
We spotted Courtney in line at Starbucks waiting for a hot coffee to keep warm. Wearing a cardigan and jeans from Old Navy, she added cute boots from Francesca’s and socks from Urban Outfitters to feel snug. Her scarf from Blue Ivy (the store downtown) pulls this fall look together nicely.
We found Tori sketching away in the Hub, and her artsy style perfectly complements it. She looks cozy in a pullover sweater from Free People and boots from Forever 21.
Julie was perfectly dressed for the inconstant weather in a sweater-dress from Nordstrom and a scarf from the now defunct downtown store Axis. She brings her outfit together with an assortment of accessories. Her gold watch and rings tie in with her vest and matching boots.
Amber rocks the classic scarf and cardigan (both from Penny’s), the ideal outfit for chilly weather. She finished the look with a pair of leather combat boots.
Darshil was looking dashing in his sweater and button down combo. His watch and shoes from Brooks Brothers complement his pants from J. Crew for a polished autumn look.
Matt looked trendy in a Polo button down shirt and sunglasses he bought in New York City.
Mshuo and Cheng Cheng were ready for the walk to classes in their warm fall jackets from TJ Maxx. Mshuo’s hat and sweater were the perfect pairing for a brisk fall day.

Hannah was fashion-forward walking out of East Halls this morning in her Sperry’s, American Eagle jeans, and shirt from Free People.
Even on a rainy Tuesday morning, Penn State has style!
