Four-Star LB Dylan Rivers Commits To Penn State

Ninety minutes before Penn State took on Michigan in the White Out, James Franklin sent out the fateful “We got a recruit!” tweet.

Four-star linebacker Dylan Rivers from Virginia announced that he is Penn State’s second commit in the Class of 2017, joining quarterback Sean Clifford. Rivers attended the game and took to Twitter to let everyone know he’s the newest addition to Linebacker U.

247 predicted that it’s a 50-50 decision for Rivers between Penn State and Virginia Tech. It also notes that he’s the No. 231 player in the nation, No. 16 outside linebacker, and No. 9 player from Virginia.

Welcome to the family, Dylan!
