Eighty Fall Sport Student-Athletes Named Academic All-Big Ten

The Big Ten released its list of fall student-athletes who earned All-Conference Academic honors, and Penn State is among the best represented schools.

Of the 80 Nittany Lions, 10 played field hockey, 22 played football, six ran men’s cross country, seven ran women’s cross country, 12 played men’s soccer, 14 played women’s soccer, and nine played women’s volleyball.

The criteria to be an Academic All-Big Ten honoree is to have second academic year standing at the school with a cumulative 3.0 GPA.

The conference honored 1,023 athletes in all. Penn State’s honorees are as follows:
