Penn State Libraries Hosting DeStress Fest For Finals Week

In addition to expanding hours and services until Dec. 18, Penn State’s libraries will host DeStress Fest in an effort to help students relax during finals week. And you know what that means: lots of free snacks, drinks, and puzzles.

The Pattee and Paterno Libraries will offer snacks and a variety of activities from Sunday through Tuesday, Dec. 15. Lila Yoga will be held for relaxation in 103 Paterno Library 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. Paterno will have games, art therapy, free coffee, and snacks also in room 103 from 3-8 p.m. on those same days. Take a study break with puzzles and Wii games in the main lobby of the Pattee and Paterno Libraries any time during the day.

Unwind from finals with snacks, puzzles, group collaboration rooms, and other activities all day long at the Earth and Mineral Sciences Library from Monday through Thursday, Dec. 17.

The Engineering Library will have snacks and drinks all week long, but only if you bring your own cup — but what thirsty engineer doesn’t have a cup on them at all times? The Physical and Mathematical Sciences Library will also have snacks and beverages all day (until they’re gone) as well as puzzles and other activities all week long throughout the day.

Good luck on your finals, Penn State!
