Ben Kline Headbutts Teammates, Bleeds Everywhere

Although Penn State lost 24-17 to Georgia, Ben Kline was fired up before the TaxSlayer Bowl. Suiting up for the Nittany Lions for the final time Saturday, Kline did all he could to motivate his teammates prior to the matchup against the Bulldogs. During a pregame huddle with his fellow linebackers, the redshirt senior delivered a fiery message, and finished off the speech with multiple headbutts to the helmets of his teammates.

The aftermath left the senior linebacker with more than just a little blood on his headband and jersey.

A member of Joe Paterno’s final recruiting class, Kline battled injuries throughout his Penn State career, missing parts of the 2013 and all of the 2014 season with different ailments. Regardless of how many minutes he played this season, Kline’s dedication to the Nittany Lions is unrivaled and will be missed next year.
