Fight In Cedarbrook Leads To Damaged Elevators

Update 5:23 p.m.: AW and Sons is offering a $500 reward to anyone providing information leading to an arrest.

Syllabus Week came and went without causing too much commotion for State College police, but let’s be honest — there’s always bound to be something. In this case, select Cedarbrook elevators paid the price after an alcohol-fueled Saturday night.

A fight broke out in the apartment complex on January 16 at approximately 12:50 a.m. between a few dapper-looking men in a hallway. Luckily, no injuries were reported. However, the altercation spilled over into the elevator, leaving damage and destruction in its wake. The security photo paints a pretty telling picture of how everything unfolded on that fateful night, and while there’s no available video, it’s evident by the mood of the photo that the two parties were quite upset.

Police ask that anybody with knowledge of the incident contacts the State College Police Department as they attempt to identify the men in the brown and green jackets — their profiles conveniently face the security camera.

Hopefully justice is served, and no more elevators suffer the consequences.
