The BJC Is Empty, But THON Is Trending On Facebook

There are still four hours until we dance, but THON is already trending nation-wide on Facebook. See for yourself:

thon is trending on facebook
I guess no one at Facebook knows “set to verb” is bad grammar.

According to Facebook, things that are trending have recently become popular on Facebook. It’s based on a number of factors including engagement, timeliness, and pages you’ve liked.

Your timeline was likely flooded over the last week with countdowns to THON and passionate messages about why we dance. In addition to the hundreds of social media posts from Penn Staters, THON usually garners attention from celebrities on social media every year.

If you want to show your friends and followers you’re FTK, you can add a Four Diamond to your profile picture.

Keep posting, tweeting, instagramming, and snapping about THON. And follow along with our live blog for coverage from the BJC all weekend.
