The Earth Mineral Science Museum's new exhibit gives visitors a new way to learn just how exactly topographical maps work. "The mission was to build a modern interactive exhibit that is both entertaining and educational," said Ken Mankoff, a research associate through Penn State's Department of Geosciences.
The cover band from State College will be playing a free concert next Thursday hosted by the Blue and White Society.
His experience has been the foundation for the popularity of his classes. Not only does he use the textbook and theory as the basis for the class, but he also uses his own personal experience to supplement it. “I somehow connect the anecdote to that particular topic of that day,” Manuel said.
