Penn State Car Club To Host Car Show Benefiting The Four Diamonds Fund

Car enthusiasts young and old will have the chance to check out almost 400 cars right on campus, as the Penn State Car Club will host a car show on April 30.

The PSCC’s car show will begin from 10 a.m. and will conclude at 4 p.m. in the Stadium West parking lot across from the Bryce Jordan Center. Those planning to attend the Monster Truck Nationals at the BJC that night are invited and encouraged to come out early to visit the car show.

“We had a show last fall to benefit the Four Diamonds,” PSCC member George Smith said. “This year we wanted to do it again for Four Diamonds, but even bigger. The types of cars should be all over; from Civics to old school muscle.”

The Penn State Car Club will charge $5 to show off your car and spectators will have the option to provide optional donations. The event will send the majority of the proceeds to the Four Diamonds Fund. Twenty percent of the funds will be reserved for the Car Club’s future events and the remainder will go to directly to the Four Diamonds.

Along with the cars, the PSCC will work in conjunction with the Penn State EDM club to provide music and entertainment for those attending the show.

Those interested can visit the Penn State Car Club’s Facebook event here for more information.
