DOTD: Penn State Football Releases Hype Video Inspired By ‘Game Of Thrones’

Winter is coming, and so is Penn State football.

Penn State Football tweeted out its latest hype video Sunday afternoon, just in time for the return of HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” The 28-second video is modeled after the show’s Season 6 trailer, opening with the lines “Are you afraid? You should be. You’re in the great game now, and the great game is terrifying.”

The video includes clips of the Nittany Lion and an excited Whiteout crowd, followed by several shots of the team in action against teams like Ohio State and Maryland. Although Penn State doesn’t take the field against Kent State until September 3, it’s never too early to get excited about football season.
