Extended Finals Week Hours For Dining, Parking, CATA, And The Library

Today starts the most dreaded time of the semester: finals week. This inevitably means more time spent on campus — eating, collecting free stuff, attending de-stress events, and (hopefully) studying. With this in mind, the university has extended hours next week for dining, parking, CATA buses, and the library.

Commuters rejoice, for you’ll have significantly less parking restriction to worry about because of a Penn State partnership with UPUA. Overnight parking restrictions for student parking permits will be waived next week until May 6 at 7:30 a.m. Details on these parking allowances can be found here.

For those of you who take the bus, the University Libraries and ITS will sponsor extended CATA loop service until 2:30 a.m. each night through May 7. For late-night library goers, the Pattee and Paterno Libraries will be open until 2:00 a.m.

Of course dining hall hours are extended as well, because what good is a study session without snacks? Here are the extended operating hours:

South Food District:

Louie’s

  • Open until 2 a.m. Sunday (5/1) through Tuesday (5/3)
  • Open until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday (5/4) through Thursday (5/5)

Off the Ground

  • Open until 12 a.m. Sunday (5/1) through Thursday (5/5)

Findlay Dining Commons:

Good 2 Go

  • Open until 2 a.m. Sunday (5/1) through Tuesday (5/3)
  • Open until 11 p.m. Wednesday (5/4) through Thursday (5/5)

Stay woke, Penn Staters, and good luck on your final exams!
