Penn State’s Instagram Ranked No. 1 Among Colleges

What’s cooler than going to a school with a #fire Instagram account? According to relationship management platform EverTrue, Penn State is slaying the university Instagram game. Penn State ranked No. 1 in an EverTrue list titled 5 Colleges and Universities Killing It on Instagram.”

The list was features a “sampling of five great higher-ed Instagram feeds,” and offers tips on how to enhance any college’s Instagram presence. Penn State beat out Skidmore, Juniata, University of San Francisco, and the Rutgers Alumni Association (a no-brainer) with its astounding 73,000 Instagram followers. Even though this probably has something to do with the sheer size difference, EverTrue had plenty to say about Penn State’s smart choices on the photo-sharing app.

EverTrue cited this picture from Penn State’s Instagram feed, which received more than 3,000 likes.

“…Penn State shared a photo of graduation on Instagram and garnered thousands of congratulatory likes and comments on the post,” EverTrue noted. “It was a great way to capture the excitement of the event, celebrate the newly minted graduates, and help alumni remember their graduation day.”

Looks like the Penn State brand on the rise after the ever-traumatizing Oreo Thins incident.
