TruTV’s ‘Impractical Jokers’ To Perform At Bryce Jordan Center
It appears the Bryce Jordan Center’s booking office has been particularly busy this month. The BJC announced this morning that the Tenderloins, known for their truTV series “Impractical Jokers,” will perform a live show at the Jordan Center on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m.
The Tenderloins are a New York-based comedy/improv troupe who created and produce “Impractical Jokers,” which is currently in its fifth season. On the show, the four-man crew convince one another to perform ridiculous pranks in public while being filmed on hidden cameras. The stop in Happy Valley is part of the Tenderloin’s Santiago Sent Us Tour, which builds on the groups last two years of live shows and is currently touring the United States. Here’s a taste of what the guys do on “Impractical Jokers:”
Tickets for the live show go on sale this Friday, June 24, at noon and are available for $29.75 and $49.75. Those looking to attend can get tickets at all the usual locations — the Bryce Jordan Center, Eisenhower Auditorium, the Downtown Theatre, online at Ticketmaster.com, or by calling 800-745-3000.
The Tenderloins’ tour is the third show announced in what is shaping up to be a busy week at the BJC. The venue’s marketing announced last week that both Kanye West and Theresa Caputo will bring their shows through State College on Sept. 30 and Oct. 3, respectively.
