Ventriloquist Jeff Dunham Returning To Bryce Jordan Center

It’s shaping up to be a very busy fall in the BJC. Venue management announced this morning that comedic ventriloquist Jeff Dunham will perform alongside his “cast” of puppets as part of his “Perfectly Unbalanced” Tour. The show is scheduled for Thursday, October 20 at 7:30 p.m. and is Dunham’s fourth visit to the BJC.

Dunham’s specialty comedic through the assistance of ventriloquism, an art which many argue he revived. His routines include current events and general stand-up comedy and his characters are politically incorrect and insulting. He performs sets worldwide and has also appeared on Comedy Central, The Late Show with David Letterman, and The Tonight Show. Dunham’s tour has been selling out consistently so far, and the ventriloquist even holds the record for the most tickets sold on a stand up comedy tour. Check him out below:

Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, July 15 at 10 a.m. at the BJC, Eisenhower, the Downtown Theatre, Ticketmaster.com, and by phone at 800-745-3000. Students are eligible for both a pre-sale and a student discount. Tickets for students go on sale on Tuesday, July 13 and are $26.50 thanks to a discount from UPAC. Students can buy tickets in person at the above locations or utilize the Ticketmaster account manager to get the discount, so long as you have a valid Penn State ID. Other tickets run at $51 a pop.

So far this is the seventh event announced at the Jordan Center for the fall semester, including KISS, Kanye West, Theresa Caputo, the Impractical Jokers, Rascal Flatts, and WWE Live!
