Pittsburgh Pirates To Host Annual THON Game

Calling all Pittsburgh area Penn Staters: The Pirates are back showing their support For The Kids with the annual Penn State Night benefiting THON. On Tuesday, August 9 the Pirates will play the San Diego Padres and a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to THON.

First pitch will be at 7:05 p.m. Certain tickets will be specially priced at $25 and $17, with $5 and $3 respectively, going  to the dance marathon with the use of the coupon code THON.

The Pirates aren’t the only MLB team to join in on the fun For The Kids. The Philadelphia Phillies will host their game benefiting THON on July 21 and the Washington Nationals will host theirs on September 30.

Also as usual, there will be multiple opportunities in State College to have a fun-filled time FTK. The State College Spikes will host its game August 30 with tickets available in person from August 22 through August 29. Penn State teams will have their own THON games throughout the year as well.

Maybe he finally opened that sports bar named after one of his photos, the Blurry Zamboni. Or he might just be eating chicken tenders and couch surfing. Anything’s possible.
