Penn State Campus Residential Dining Introduces Farmers Market Themed Dinner

Penn State Campus Residential Dining, along with Pennsylvania Apples, will introduce its ‘Farmers Market Themed Dinner’ event at each of its five dining halls on Thursday, Oct. 6.

The event will be held to celebrate October as National Apple Month. Students can enjoy a variety of Farmers Market-themed foods and drinks while creating unique Penn State memories at this one-of-a-kind dining event. Come dig into some apple-tizing foods like the “deconstructed caramel apple” dessert, or the “carrot apple and ginger” soup.

‘Fall’ in love with a traditional recipe like ‘Hot Spiced Apple Cider‘ or a new mouthwatering entrée such as ‘Apple-Cider Brined Smoked Turkey.’ This apple-tastic event is not one to miss!

The event will include a variety of prize giveaways for students to engage in! Dinner generally begins at 5:00 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m., however, this varies upon location. For more information on the dining hall dinner schedule visit http://foodservices.psu.edu/residential-dining-hours-fall-2016.
