Candlelight Vigil Planned For Stephanie Inman On Old Main Steps

Friends and family of Stephanie Inman will host a candlelight vigil at Old Main tomorrow night to honor her life which was tragically cut short last week. Inman passed away unexpectedly Friday from a pulmonary embolism.

Inman was a freshman majoring in biology and according to her obituary intended to become a dentist. At Penn State she was involved with Homecoming along with her sister Barbara. She also enjoyed participation in THON’s OPP Committee, the Pre-Dental Society, and was the Special Events Chair for the Wrestling Affiliate Club.

The vigil will be held tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. and candles will be provided but you are also invited to bring your own. Katie Gaisor and Stephanie’s sister Barabara who are hosting the event also welcome attendees to bring flowers to place on the memorial honoring all Penn State students that have passed away.

In addition to the vigil, Stephanie’s family is asking that memorial contributions be made to THON, crediting THON OPPerations, or the Stephanie Inman Memorial Scholarship. Our thoughts and prayers are with Stephanie’s family and friends during this difficult time.
