DOTD: Penn State’s Post-Iowa Mannequin Challenge Is The Best We’ve Seen

There are two trends sweeping the country: The #MannequinChallenge and a College Football Playoff-ranked Penn State Football team.

The No. 12 Nittany Lions utilized a four-quarter attack to roll over Iowa 41-14 and electrify Happy Valley yet again. A dominant performance from beginning to end, players and fans alike were hyped up as soon as the sun began to set on a second night game in Beaver Stadium.

Though excited, the team was somehow able to compose itself in the locker room after the game and stand still for a minute. Perfectly still, actually. Like mannequins. The Nittany Lions celebrated their win over Iowa by getting in on the #MannequinChallenge, which involves a group of people standing perfectly still while one person films and “Black Beatles” by Rae Sremmurd plays in the background.

All kinds of teams are getting in on it — the Junior Blues, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and now the Lions. Check out Penn State Football’s mannequin challenge, courtesy of cornerback Amani Oruwariye:
