Penn State Performing Arts Council To Present A Capella Sampler On Thursday

The Penn State Performing Arts Council (PAC) will present its second annual A Cappella Sampler on Thursday, November 10 in the Schwab Auditorium as part of its signature series “Empower and Create.” The doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and the performance begins at 8:00 p.m.

Seven of Penn State’s A Cappella groups will be performing at the Sampler: Shades of Blue, The Coda Conduct, Blue in the FACE, None of the Above (N.O.T.A.), The Pennharmonics, Savior Faire, and The Statesmen. The Singing Lions will also appear for a featured performance.

The A Cappella Sampler will be PAC’s largest event for the fall semester and the second event in the 2016-2017 Signature Series. The event allows PAC to host all the A Cappella groups at Penn State in one venue and feature the unique aspects of each one.

Tickets for the event are free at the PAC table on the first floor of the HUB from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday or from any of the A Cappella groups.
