Joe Jonas And DNCE Put On Surprise THON Performance

Update, 7:45 p.m.: Joe Jonas and his band DNCE are taking the stage to perform! The dancers and spectators on the floor rushed to the stage and the band was greeted by deafening applause.

Original Post

What started on the twitter rumor mill is now confirmed. Joe Jonas is at THON 2017.

Two separate Onward State staffers saw Jonas walking around the Bryce Jordan Center this evening after countless rumors from seemingly everyone at THON.

Jonas and his band DNCE performed last night in Bethlehem, PA after their original concert at the Sands was moved from February 4. It was perfect timing and Jonas decided to take a quick stop in State College before heading to New Orleans for the NBA All-Star Game tomorrow night.

Jonas actually has several connections to Penn State, celebrating his 21st birthday at the Phyrst after a concert in Hershey and thanks to a Townie manager. Jonas also made an appearance at the Rose Bowl, sporting some Penn State swag and cheering on the Nittany Lions.

This trip to Happy Valley, though, is for the kids.
