Angelina Khan, Kevin Abrokwah To Serve As Emcees For Movin’ On 2018

After accepting applications during the fall semester, Movin’ On selected Angelina Khan and Kevin Abrokwah as the emcees for the music festival, which will be held on April 27. Khan and Abrokwah will also emcee Movin’ On’s Battle Of The Bands event, which will take place on March 21.

“Angelina has always loved Movin’ On and its ability to bring students together at the end of the year,” Movin’ On PR Director Olivia Burdack said. “Angelina says that the festival is an amazing was to finish the year on a high note. The high energy and school spirit at the event is what interested her to become an emcee for the festival. Angelina can’t wait to bring her vibrant personality to the stage with her co-host Kevin Abrokwah at Movin’ On promotional events this year.”

“Kevin describes the annual music festival as, ‘the cherry on top to a four year academic journey that celebrates graduation,'” Burdack continued. “Kevin is excited to bring his unique style to the Movin’ On stage this spring and get the crowd involved before the musicians take the stage.” Ultimately, Abrokwah hopes to translate his fun and excitement on stage to the crowd.

Khan and Abrokwah, who are both juniors, will host Penn State’s largest on-campus music festival of the year. Last year’s Movin’ On lineup disappointed some students, but the organization once again took student suggestions and feedback last semester on what artists it will try to bring in this year. The survey included big names like T-Pain and Grouplove, and an appearance from one or both of those artists at Movin’ On would certainly generate plenty of excitement for the event.
