Penn State men’s basketball picked up its first 2019 recruit on Tuesday afternoon in the form of Patrick Kelly.
A crowd of gawking students quickly gathered around the few men, angrily debating on topics that ranged from racism to the Ten Commandments.
"It is important to talk openly about what has transpired this past year, and over many years, and to remind your children that they are important to you. Tell them to take nothing at face value, be cautious, guard against peer pressure."
Pegula and her husband Terry, a Penn State alumnus, donated millions to the university for the construction of Pegula Ice Arena, which allowed Penn State to begin its Division I hockey program.
After disappointment last year due to licensing issues, the Penn State Esports Club is competing in the Big Ten League of Legends conference this year and eligible for scholarships from the conference partner, Riot Games.
