Our Strangest Out-Of-Context Tweets From THON 2018

THON 2018 was here and gone in a flash, which means Penn Staters are beginning to move into the reminiscence phase of post-THON withdrawal. It’s fun to look at the all the photos and videos, but scrolling through our Twitter was more weird than it was endearing.

Here are our weirdest, most mysterious, most meaningless tweets from @THONwardState this past weekend:

Starting off strong with the context-less tweets on day one, I see.

What about jazz hands, then?

I’m sorry, who’s Mandy again?

Well? I’m on the edge of my seat here. What was the “really fun event?”

It’s never too early for “Cheeseburger in Paradise.”

It is, however, too early to use the word “twerks” at THON.

~edgy~

A rare breed even without the context.

*Christina Aguilera voice* Slooooooow it doooooooooooown!

I know they seem to go together, but the last two tweets were sent 20 minutes apart.

You tried, blog.

It’s “The Handmaid’s Tale,” you uncultured swine.

I can almost see press row falling asleep to smooth jazz.

This tweet could be from THON, but it could also be from a Penn State daylong. Either way, here for it.

Nope.

We’re always ready for the dab.
