State College Police Investigating Hit-And-Run At East Calder-South Garner Intersection

The State College Police Department reported that it’s investigating a hit-and-run crash from the early morning hours on Saturday, February 18 at the intersection of East Calder Way and South Garner Street.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., a metallic brown SUV, which witnesses said might have been a Subaru Forrester with a plate starting “JDB”, ran a stop sign at the intersection and struck a vehicle traveling on South Garner Street. The front of the vehicle has light damages.

The driver is an African American male with shoulder length black hair pulled back in a ponytail, according to video footage obtained by the State College Police Department.

The police department is asking for anyone with information on the incident to contact the State College Police Department at (814) 234-7150. If you have information, you can also reach the police department via email or submit an anonymous tip.

Maybe he finally opened that sports bar named after one of his photos, the Blurry Zamboni. Or he might just be eating chicken tenders and couch surfing. Anything’s possible.
