Penn State Hockey Announces Ticket Information For Big Ten Quarterfinals

No. 18 Penn State men’s hockey announced the ticket information for this weekend’s Big Ten quarterfinal series against No. 8 Minnesota.

Students can purchase tickets in the Roar Zone for $18 and non-premium seats in the lower bowl of Pegula Ice Arena will cost $30. Premium seats will cost $60 and standing-room only tickets are $15. All available tickets will go on sale at 3 p.m. Monday for the public after a pre-sale for season ticket holders and Nittany Lion Club members from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Guy Gadowsky’s Nittany Lions clinched home-ice in the Big Ten quarterfinals after sweeping Minnesota to close out the 2017-18 regular season. Penn State took game one of the series 5-1 and followed the effort with an emphatic 5-2 victory on Senior Night.

The team sat in sixth place in the conference entering the weekend, but the sweep combined with a Wisconsin loss to No. 6 Ohio State on Friday opened the door for Penn State to leapfrog the Badgers and Gophers en route to a fourth-place finish in the conference.

The start time for each of the three games of the Big Ten quarterfinals are not set in stone yet, but are tentatively set for 7 p.m. All three games of the series will be played at Pegula Ice Arena as part of the new tournament format.
