Penn State Announces Spring Break Parking And Transit Changes

Penn State Transportation Services announced modified parking and transit services that will be offered on campus during spring break.

CATA buses will operate under their standard reduced service schedules. The White Loop and Green Link will not run at all throughout the week, while the Blue Loop will not run on March 3, 4, and 10.

Since CATA bus services will be limited throughout the week, all Orange and Commuter parking permits will be valid at the Eisenhower parking deck, Lot Red A, the Orange lots, and the Commuter lots from March 5 to 9. Orange and Commuter parking permits, however, will not be valid at the Orange lots next to the Bryce Jordan Center and the Office of Physical Plant over break.

Additionally, the campus shuttle from Pollock Road will not run throughout spring break, but the Hershey Shuttle and the campus shuttle from College Avenue will continue to run. The parking office attached to the Eisenhower parking deck will operate at normal hours throughout the week.

All normal parking regulations will still be in effect throughout the week, including overnight restrictions in the commuter lots from 2 to 4 a.m. All evening and weekend permits will be valid after 4 p.m.
