Finals Week Dining Hours – Stress Snacking

As the semester comes to a close, Penn State’s Campus Residential Dining will be modifying hours for finals week and students’ departures. The hours during finals week are adjusted to accommodate the needs of students, extending breakfast and dinner hours, and varying by location. Hours of operation seem to be in direct correlation with students’ stress levels. As students wrap up their exams by Friday, May 4, dining commons will offer more limited hours.

With the exception of Pollock, dining halls will not operate during normal hours on Friday and all dining commons and most retail dining stations will be closed beginning on Sunday, May 6th. Some of your favorite places like Off the Ground and The Mix may also have altered hours during the week of finals so before you take a study break, make sure your favorite snack spot is open.

If you want to make sure your stress snacking can happen in the dining hall closest to you, check out this website. You can find the altered hours for finals week listed under each area. Penn State Campus Residential Dining hopes that you get through your exams quickly and painlessly, but most importantly with a full stomach.

Campus Dining is committed to enriching students’ residential experience. With five dining halls on campus, and over 35 options for places to eat, Campus Dining works towards serving quality food and beverages at all times with quick, friendly, and responsive service.
