‘Lead The Pride’ Experience Focuses On Improving Students’ Leadership Abilities

Students will have an opportunity to enhance their leadership skills with the “Lead the Pride; A Student Leadership Experience.” The Student Activities-sponsored event takes place 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, November 3 at the Nittany Lion Inn.

The annual event allows students to participate in different activities and conversations that lead them through self discovery and leadership development. The goal is for the students to learn more about their own personal leadership style, and how to effectively use such a style to make an impact on the Penn State community.

“Lead the Pride” is free for students to attend, and the day includes lunch and a snack break. Online applications are due Friday, October 19. Students are asked questions about the leadership qualities they currently possess and how they hope to improve their leadership skills.
