Barrel 21 Distillery & Dining Launches Fresh Spring Menu!

Never content to merely rest on past success, Barrel 21 Distillery & Dining will proudly roll out its latest seasonal menu on May 7, featuring the best of Central Pennsylvania. Working with AV Farms of Spring Mills who raises our own pasture-fed, spent-grain-finished beef, and other local producers, Chef Justin Berkebile, along with our talented kitchen staff, has put together some creative and very tasty new dishes for your enjoyment, while keeping some true favorites untouched. We also use our own, top quality, house-distilled spirits during preparation whenever we can!

Appetizers now include a fresh, lively Short Rib Egg Roll, deeply delicious Slow Cooked Hogs Galore Pork Belly, and Foie Glass; seared foie gras with vanilla panna cotta and apple-infused Rye caviar, served in a glass swirling with cherrywood smoke. And don’t fear…our popular Truffle Fries aren’t going anywhere! Our current Meats and Cheeses list features Sous Vide AV Farms Oxtail, a Fromage filled with local Amish-made cheeses, and the Land & Sea Trio—Citrus-Cured Salmon, Peppercorn-Cured Ahi Tuna, and rich Roasted Bone Marrow.

Entrees have been changed up to include Duck Confit and Sweet Potato Gnocchi, a light and creamy Lemon Butter Chicken over Fettucine, and the striking Plague Doctor Pork Tomahawk. If all you really need is Steak and Potatoes, our Flat-Iron version will fill the bill!

We’ll still continue to keep things exciting with rotating weekly entrée features and our artisanal salad feature. Lunch is available Fridays and Saturdays only, and our tasty sandwiches will continue to satisfy in our Sandwich and Side specials: $13, including a selected fresh Otto’s draft beer or non-alcohol beverage, or $16 with one of our selected craft cocktails.

Speaking of which, those cocktails, inspired by our creative bar staff, continue to bring in a fun crowd at any time! All made with our own craft-distilled spirits, the newest seasonal list includes a Grapefruit Peppercorn Sazerac made with pink peppercorn and grapefruit-infused B21 Gin, the Italian Sunset (muddled strawberry, B21 Vodka, Aperol, citrus juices, and Chambord), and No Way Rosé (our Woodcock Pennsylvania Straight Rye Whiskey with lemon juice, bitters, elderflower liqueur, ginger beer, and rosé wine. Full bar service always available, too!

Looking for entertainment? We’ve got that covered, almost every evening and during our Sunday Prime Rib Dinner, every Sunday from 4p.m. till 9 p.m. Don’t miss our award-winning Sunday Brunch & Bloody Mary Bar! Details can be found at Barrel21Distillery.com.

We always have our spirits available for tasting and for sale by the bottle in our distillery tasting room: a full line of Whiskeys (Straight Bourbon and Straight Rye), Gins (Regular and Barrel Rested), Rums (Light, Spiced, and Navy Strength), Vodka (distilled from grain, right here, by us), Apple Eau de Vie (made from local Keewaydin orchard apples), and our ever-popular Limoncello.

So stop by, Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m.- 11 p.m. (kitchen closes at 10), Friday and Saturday from noon till 11, Sunday Brunch from 9 till 2, and Sunday Dinner from 4 until 9 p.m. We’ll look forward to making your next visit one to remember!
