New PrintMates Photo-Printing Kiosk Installed In The HUB

Ah, developing photos. What was once something only 90s kids remembered has now returned to the mainstream, as physical photos are commonly plastered on dorm room walls and Polaroid cameras are all the rage.

To make printing photos easier for students, a PrintMates kiosk was recently installed on the first floor of the HUB outside the Office for Student Activities near the first floor TV lounge.

The station allows visitors to print any photos stored on their phones in an instant. You can also access any photos stored on your Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts in addition to Google Drive and Dropbox folders.

The PrintMates kiosk features plugs that fit nearly every mobile phone to allow its users to hook up to the machine and access their pics. Once you’ve selected your photos, you can pick what size you’d like to print. Options range from 3″ x 5″ all the way to 6″ x 8″.

Prices vary from $1 for smaller photos to $3 for the largest. You can pay for your photos in a variety of ways including credit and debit cards. However, the station doesn’t accept LionCash or cash.

If you can’t take your photos home with you right away, you can request for them to be delivered elsewhere thanks to FedEx and the United States Postal Service. Maybe send some photos home to mom, huh? She misses you.
