Penn State wrestling fans will get a chance to watch some past and present Nittany Lion starts compete in an upcoming freestyle event hosted by the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club this week.

The NLWC’s online freestyle event will kick off at 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 19 through the club’s Rofkin channel. The event will be held without in-person fans and features 13 premier matchups showcasing some of the world’s top freestyle wrestlers.

The highly anticipated event will feature numerous All-Americans, NCAA champions, and even one Olympic champion, Kyle Snyder. There are also two women’s freestyle matchups set to take place.

Fans will get to watch some former Penn State stars, as Bo Nickal, Vincenzo Joseph, Zain Retherford, and Jason Nolf are all set to compete against top competition from other clubs.

• 74 Kg: Rick Durso (NLWC) v. Malik Amine (Cliff Keen Wrestling Club)
• 125 Kg: Nick Nevils (NLWC) v. Jordan Wood (Lehigh Valley Wrestling Club)
• 62 Kg: Jennifer Page (NLWC) v. Desiree Zavala (Unattached)
• 196 Lbs: Jaime Espinal (NLWC) v. Domenic Abounader (CKWC)
• 157 Lbs: Zain Retherford (NLWC) v. Alec Pantaleo (CKWC)
• 79 Kg: Jason Nolf (NLWC) v. David McFadden (Pennsylvania RTC)
• 77 Kg: Vincenzo Joseph (NLWC) v. Dan Vallimont (Pennsylvania RTC)
