UPUA, GPSA Providing Free Bike Helmets To Penn State Students

Penn State’s University Park Undergraduate Association and Graduate and Professional Student Association are teaming up to give away free bike helmets to students from Monday, September 21 to Wednesday, September 23.

The helmets will be available for pickup from noon to 2 p.m. each day in Pollock Plaza outside the HUB.

Students can register for their free helmet by filling out a sign-up form using a valid Penn State email address. Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for a free helmet.

The cost of the helmet is paid for through the Penn State student fee in an effort to encourage students to travel safe and sustainably. Additionally, information about bike safety will be available, and students can register their bikes at the event.
