Former Penn State Football Star DaQuan Jones Placed On NFL Reserve/COVID-19 List

Former Penn State football defensive lineman DaQuan Jones tested positive for the coronavirus alongside two of his Tennessee Titans teammates Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The players will be placed on the Titans’ Reserve/COVID-19 list, barring them from joining team activities for the time being. Eight staff members also tested positive for the virus.

All three players who tested positive are reportedly asymptomatic. Although the Titans have closed their practice facility and resorted to preparing for their next game virtually, drive-through testing is still available to players.

The Minnesota Vikings, whom the Titans played Sunday, didn’t report any positive coronavirus tests so far. They’ll continue practicing as scheduled.

Jones, a seventh-year pro, totaled eight tackles through three games so far this season. He’s listed as a starter on Tennessee’s depth chart.
