[Photo Story] Penn State’s Fall Foliage In Full Swing

It’s that time of year again, folks. The colder temperatures and brisk breeze on a sunny day can only signal one thing: It’s midterm season time for the trees to turn to the vibrant shades of fall.

Even with Pennsylvania’s moderate drought threatening the appearance of fall foliage on campus, the trees around campus surely didn’t disappoint. If you’re feeling down while being stuck in Zoom classes all day, grab a mask and enjoy the display of that classic fall color palette.

Even though not all the trees lining Pollock Road are vibrant shades of red, orange, or yellow, it still makes for a beautiful view. However, you can find some of those bright red trees at other spots on campus.

Students aren’t the only ones enjoying the changing trees around campus. The coming of fall means that the oak trees drop their acorns, which allows Penn State’s squirrels to get a tasty snack.

As usual, these fall colors won’t last forever, so take a day to walk around campus (safely, of course) and enjoy it. It’ll be a barren, snowy wasteland before you know it.
