Penn State Libraries To Host Virtual De-Stress Fest Through Finals Week

After an already-stressful semester, this fall’s finals week is no walk in the park.

To help students hopefully relax a bit, Penn State’s libraries are currently hosting their annual De-Stress Fest through Friday, December 18. The online event hopes to encourage students to take care of their mental health and unwind during the final weeks of the semester.

Dozens of virtual activities are available to students and designed specifically to reduce anxiety and stress. Some activities include craft tutorials, coloring pages, virtual puppy playrooms, and collaborative escape rooms. For more information, check out the De-Stress Fest website.

Penn State’s libraries are currently operating under adjusted hours for those still hanging around campus. They’ll be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays.

Following finals week, they’ll be open from 11 a.m to 5 p.m. between December 21 to 23. They will close on January 4 until the start of the spring semester.
