THON Freshman Involvement Committee Applications Now Open

Applications for THON’s first-ever Freshman Involvement Committee are now open until Friday, January 8.

THON’s executive committee created the Freshman Involvement Committee this year to give freshmen the chance to learn about all things THON. The committee is intended for freshmen interested in getting involved with THON but missed the original committee member deadline in October.

Weekly meetings will include guest speakers from THON and Four Diamonds, learning about THON’s history, creating fundraising pages, and meeting Four Diamonds Families. Committee members will also have the opportunity to be mentored by an upperclassmen THON captain.

After the committee is finished, freshmen can apply to be a returning-committee member or captain. Since this committee has been in the works since before the pandemic forced some massive changes onto both THON and the school year in general, it will become a permanent committee moving forward.

Students who either aren’t looking to join a committee or who aren’t currently freshmen are still encouraged to consider joining a THON organization. A complete list of organizations can be found here.
