It’s time for some playoff football, baby!
The NFL’s 256-game regular season has come and gone, and the postseason is now officially here. As we head into the first-ever “Super” Wildcard Weekend, 13 Nittany Lions are listed on NFL teams’ active 53-man rosters.
Chris Godwin and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will try to win the organization a Super Bowl for the first time since 2003, while Bears wideout Allen Robinson attempts to win the first playoff game of his career. Additionally, Chiefs offensive lineman Stefen Wisniewski has the chance to become a Super Bowl champion for the second consecutive year.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers both earned a first-round bye and will play next week.
There are six Nittany Lions who are a part of a playoff team’s organization but aren’t currently on the active roster. Three players — quarterback Trace McSorley (Ravens), punter Blake Gillikin (Saints), and offensive lineman AQ Shipley — are on injured reserve. Chicago Bears safety Jordan Lucas opted out of the season back in August due to coronavirus concerns.
Additionally, defensive linemen Robert Windsor (Colts) and Anthony Zettel (Saints) are currently on their respective teams’ practice squad.
