Penn State Wrestling-Wisconsin Rescheduled For February 2

No. 3 Penn State wrestling (2-0) will head to Madison, Wisconsin on Tuesday, February 2, for a rescheduled dual with the Badgers (1-3), the team announced Sunday night.

The Nittany Lions will hit the mat at 5 p.m. that night. The action will stream on BTN+ and air on WRSC (1390AM/93.3FM) in the State College area.

The dual meet was originally included as part of a tri-meet with Michigan slated for February 7. However, the Wolverines paused all athletic program activities for two weeks due to widespread COVID-19 concerns among their teams.

Penn State will enter the matchup following two season-opening wins over Indiana and Northwestern at a tri-meet in Evanston. After kicking off a little rust, the Nittany Lions got the best of the Hoosiers and Wildcats and quickly returned to their winning ways.
