THON 2021 Weekend Weather Forecast

After months of fundraising, it’s officially THON Weekend.

Although most students won’t need to worry about traveling to the Bryce Jordan Center, you might still find yourself running errands for dancers or families around the borough.

Here’s a look at AccuWeather’s current forecast for THON Weekend. Let’s just thank the THON gods that you can watch the events from inside your apartment.

Friday

Friday will be the warmest day of the weekend with a high of 34 and a low of 18 degrees. There’s a 55% chance of snow flurries, but we’re bound to see overcast skies all day long.

Thankfully, there’s no need to bundle up on the walk from your room to your bathroom since that’s about all the moving around you’ll be doing in a virtual THON.

Saturday

Unfortunately, the weather doesn’t seem to improve as we move throughout the weekend. The high only reaches 24 degrees, and although the sun might shine on Saturday, there’s still a 55% chance of flurries. Hold on to your fanny packs. It’s going to be a breezy one with sustained winds of 14 mph and gusts up to 22 mph!

Sunday

On the final and most exhausting day of THON, the sun will finally make an appearance and warm the borough back up to a high of 31 degrees. This is the perfect weather to snuggle up in your blankets and sleep through your Monday classes after an insane 46 hours.
