Custom Penn State Chuck Taylors Now Available

If you’ve ever wanted to add a pair of blue and white Chuck Taylors to your shoe game, now might be a perfect time.

Penn State-branded shoes are now available in Converse’s “Custom College Collection.” The shoe company added two recommended Nittany Lion specific-designs to its catalog, but each pair is completely customizable. They’re available in both men’s and women’s sizes.

Penn State joins other Big Ten schools like Ohio State and Michigan in this collection. Other popular universities like Duke, Oregon, and Kentucky have custom designs available, too.

Since these shoes are customizable in Converse’s design editor, we took the liberty of pumping out some of our own ideas for Penn State-related kicks. Although you can really only choose between blue, black, and white, we still managed to pull off a few unique designs.

Some look pretty sweet, while you probably shouldn’t actually wear the others. But that’s up to you!

The White Outs

The Stripe Outs

The West Halls

It seems like the power’s always going out there, right? Alternatively, you can toss some pink laces in these bad boys and get yourself a throwback look.

While the Penn State designs are quite limited in terms of color, the “varsity” shoes have a few more options.

The Willard Preachers

Red on the top, navy on the bottom. We love you, Gary.

The Yallah Tacos

See what happens if you pull up to your favorite taco stand wearing these bad boys.

The Penn State Squirrels

“Dark burgundy” was the closest color to…whatever color squirrels are. These are perfect for supporting your furry friends around campus.
