The Best Penn State Moment Bracket: Final Four

Well, folks. We’re almost there. Onward State’s Best Penn State Moment bracket is down to the Final Four, and things are certainly heating up.

As we take one step closer to crowning a champion, we’ll need your help to decide which of our top-two seeds move on from our sports and student life regions.

What defines “best”? Well, that’s up to you. Maybe it’s the sporting event that meant the most to you. Or perhaps the student life shindig that helped you fall in love with Penn State. No matter what you choose, make sure you’re voting.

Without further ado, let’s break down where our bracket stands:

The Bracket™

Blocked kick against Ohio State (2016) (80.3% over Penn State women’s volleyball completes 2007-10 four-peat) vs. Penn State football’s 1986 national championship and undefeated season (52.7% over Penn State football’s 2016 Big Ten title)

Our sports region was easily dominated by the top two seeds through and through. But now, our readers have a tough call on their hands, largely split by the age gap. Could a shocking White Out moment upset the Nittany Lions’ Fiesta Bowl win that sealed a national championship and undefeated season? That’s for you to decide!

The White Out (95.1% over State Patty’s) vs. THON (64.3% over singing the Alma Mater at a Penn State event)

We’re not too surprised to see the White Out kicked State Patty’s’ teeth in or THON triumphed over one of Penn State fans’ most beloved traditions. However, we’ll be shocked to see which foundational student life event prevails in this week’s round of voting. We’re in for a heavyweight fight, folks.

No matter what you’re rooting for, make sure to vote below. We’ll close Final Four voting on Thursday before bringing you a championship matchup on Friday.
