Mr. Wish Fruit Tea Shop To Open In Downtown State College

A new bubble tea and fruit drink franchise plans on opening in downtown State College sometime soon.

Mr. Wish will eventually open in the former location of Metro clothing store at 320 E. College Ave., according to a new sign posted outside the storefront this week.

Mr. Wish originally launched in Taiwan back in 2006. Today, it operates locations in nine states, including 15 franchises in Pennsylvania. Most locations are near Philadelphia, where Mr. Wish’s United States operations are headquartered.

The restaurant’s menu includes an assortment of fruit, milk, and brewed teas, on top of smoothies and fruit drinks.

At this time, it’s unclear when exactly Mr. Wish plans on opening. The company did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Onward State or StateCollege.com.

We’ll update this post with more information as it becomes available. StateCollege.com’s Geoff Rushton contributed to this report.
