Grant Ament’s Impressive PLL Goal Ranked No. 3 On SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays

Former Penn State men’s lacrosse star Grant Ament checked in at No. 3 on SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays Monday after breaking some angles on a show-stopping goal over the weekend.

Ament currently plays lacrosse for the Premier Lacrosse League’s Archers. He scored an impressive goal against the Whipsnakes on July 4, giving his team the lead in the second period.

Despite Ament and the Archer’s best efforts, Whipsnakes won 15-14. Ament racked up four points during the spar — two goals and two assists.

Ament graduated in 2020 and was drafted No. 1 overall in the Premier Lacrosse League Draft that May. He left a legacy with the Nittany Lions, setting the Big Ten record for assists (96) and assists per game (5.65). Ament also broke the Big Ten and program record for points (126) and the NCAA Tournament record for points (25).
